Yesterday was a very important day for the Church and those living in Rome. I had the opportunity to venture over the San Pietro for a bit of prayer. But just before hand, I got my picture taken in front of the Altar of the Chair.
The candles that you see are placed out only on this day.
The last picture is a double rainbow viewed over San Pietro from the College. Thanks to Rob Lampitt from Peoria, Ill for taking these photos.

I was just passing some time and discovered my picture with Cardinal McCarrick online. He gave a talk for the US Embassy to the Holy See on DIGNITATIS HUMANAE and I was blessed to be in attendence.
The only drawback - they got my name wrong! I find it amusing.
