There are new sections of pictures that I have promised for sometime. These include: Institution of Acolyte This is a beautiful step towards my service at the Altar of the Lord. My first official service at the College will be the same day as my mother’s birthday. St Patrick’s Day Again, our band Munera 3, offered musical services for the St Patrick’s celebration. This was preceded by a dinner in honor of Msgr. William Lyons. He is a spiritual director at the college - and celebrated his 50th anniversary of Priesthood on the same day. Fan into Flame Retreat with St Paul’s Outreach At the end of February, a group of men from the United States traveled to Rome to lead us in a retreat. This took place at the College and showed how the Holy Spirit can pour out charismatic gifts onto us. These are used then to praise God and to share His love with the world through the Church and her mission. Station Church Pictures These were posted last year, but still pertain to the lenten journey that I participate in everyday.

Just the other day, the universality and catholicity of the Church hit me. I was at the French National College visiting some friends for lunch. At the table, there were six of us: Myself, an American; Michelle, a priest from Cameroon; Nicholas, soon to be a Deacon from Nigeria; Moses, a seminarian from Nigeria living at the French College; William, a deacon from a small community in France; A seminarian with the Holy Ghost Fathers from Africa who reminded me of Eddie Murphy in Coming to America. What a conversation we had. We were able to share our love of Jesus and how the acceptance of his will for our lives has led us to where we are today. It truly is a small world: Over a year ago, Michelle, was concelebrating the first Mass of one of my Diocesan brothers. I was serving at that same Mass but we had never met. Two years later, I was sitting next to him as lunch in Rome at French College where Washington DC crashes into Cameron. Give thanks to God for His Providence in our lives! ~ Just to give a heads up on upcoming events which I will share more about later - Friday night is our St Patrick’s Day celebration - Sunday morning is our reception of the Ministry of Acolyte.
